TEDx speaker, Radio Show Host, International Best-selling Author, Emotional Resilience Grand Master Trainer, and co-founder of the Teen Suicide Prevention Society, Jackie Simmons is best known for her mission to “Wake Up The World.” Blindsided by her 14-year-old daughter’s suicide attempt in 1995, Jackie entered a world of depression, addictions, medical mysteries, and deadly silences. The journey into the world of mental health services and cultural taboos left Jackie feeling lost and alone. “OK” on the outside, Jackie hid her deep, psychic wounds from the world behind a facade of frantic entrepreneurial activity.Then on August 3, 2019, Jackie’s now 37-year-old daughter, broke the silence. At the age of 18 years she made enough money to enlist in the Egyptian Opera house, in the section of Vocals. She have been taught by the greatest opera singers at that time, as Sobhy Bidair (for 5 years), Nevine Alouba (2 years), Tahia Shams El din (2 years).
She also was trained with Egypt best Piano players and Maestro Nayer Nagui, and Mohamed Shams. During this time she attained the 5th grade in the Royal School of Music UK in singing, conducted in Egypt by the Tobgy center.
Opera Singer Sobhi Bidair proposed to her to join him with his team “Sobhi and Friend”, but due to her profession as a dentist, she did not have enough time for both.
Mireille always increased her knowledge in singing by attending many master classes by famous Opera singer internationally as George Wanis (Opera Singer in France.)
Since she moved to Montreal her Singing talent did not stop, she enlisted for vocal training at the West Island conservatory of music, in Pointe Claire, as well as the Beaconsfield School of Music.
